Team Renae – Walking 10,000 Steps a Day for Autism

I’ve created Team Renae as part of the Walk for Autism challenge, and I would love for others to join me.

As many of you know, my daughter Renae was diagnosed with autism in September 2024. Since then, our journey has shown me just how important awareness, understanding, and support are for autistic people and their families. Going through the process with the GP and the diagnosis journey also highlighted that there isn’t always enough support available, and there needs to be more awareness and acceptance for people with autism.

That’s why I’ve decided to take part in the Walk for Autism challenge, where I’ll be walking 10,000 steps every day from 26th March to 2nd April to help raise money and awareness.

I’ve created this team so that anyone who wants to support the cause can join in too. Whether you walk 10,000 steps a day, do what you can, or simply help spread the word, every bit of support makes a difference.

Together we can help raise awareness, support autistic people and their families, and work towards a world that is more understanding, inclusive, and accepting.

If you’d like to join Team Renae, I’d love to have you walking alongside us.💚
