I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives
This year I’m taking part in Walk for Autism — a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group — walking 10,000 steps every day from 26 March to 2 April.
This one is very personal to me. My goddaughter Grace is autistic and non-verbal, so I see first-hand how important the right support, understanding and inclusive communities are. Alongside being a Mental Health First Aider, this is a cause that genuinely means a lot to me.
Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential, and a community where they feel included.

Wednesday 18th Feb Hi all, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has sponsored Katie and I so far... We have already achieved 50% of our target together...! Which is amazing. We have around 5 weeks until the challenge, so looking forward to keep pushing this and getting more sponsorship to raise money for this great cause, that is really close to our hearts!
