I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives
I’ve spent many years working with children and young people with special educational needs, and every day I’m reminded of their individuality, their strengths, and the incredible potential they hold. Being part of their world has shaped not only my career, but my values.
I believe wholeheartedly that every child deserves equal opportunities, no matter their neurodiversities. Inclusion isn’t just a principle for me - it’s a responsibility. It means advocating for environments where children are understood, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
Taking part in Walk for Autism is my way of honouring the children and families I work with, raising awareness, and standing up for a future where acceptance and opportunity are the norm, not the exception.

Wednesday 1st Apr Massively disappointed in myself today, not making 10,000 steps. I have tried to reach it, but I feel too poorly. Hoping to catch up the steps over the next few days 🤞🏻 Share
Day 3… didn’t happen 🥲
Sunday 29th MarDay 3 was a total write‑off for a mix of very unexciting reasons. But no worries - I’m keeping the challenge going for an additional day, until 3rd April, and I’ll use that day’s steps as a stand‑in.
The challenge continues, and so does the fundraising. Thanks for sticking with me!
