Walking for Autism

Wednesday 18th Mar

On the 26th of March, I’ll be starting a 10,000-step-a-day challenge to raise awareness for autism 💙

This is something very close to my heart. My 10 year old brother has non-verbal autism, and I’m doing this for him but also for my cousins and for every person around the world who is living with autism.

Autism isn’t always understood. Sometimes people judge what they don’t understand whether it’s the noises, the behaviours, or the differences. But to me, people with autism are incredible. They see the world in unique and beautiful ways, and they often have strengths and perspectives that deserve to be celebrated, not judged.

For many individuals with autism, everyday life can bring challenges that others might not even notice. That’s why awareness matters because understanding leads to acceptance, and acceptance leads to a kinder, more supportive world.

This walk is my way of showing support, spreading awareness, and standing up for my brother and everyone like him. 💙

If you can, please support me by sharing this post, spreading awareness, or even joining in and getting your steps in too!

Let’s walk together for autism awareness 💙
