From Early Years to Everyday Impact: Why I’m Walking for Autism

Saturday 28th Mar

Alongside the Perry twins, Dhylan and Kheirran, we’ll be walking from 26th March to 2nd April to raise awareness and support for autistic individuals and their families. This is their first time taking part in something like this, and seeing their commitment has made this experience even more meaningful.

This journey is about more than just steps. It’s about understanding, inclusion, and supporting a cause that has a real impact on people’s lives.

Through my work in early years and childcare, I see first-hand how important it is to create environments where every child feels understood, supported, and able to thrive. Early support, patience, and inclusive practice can make a lasting difference, not only for children but for their families too.

Taking part in Walk for Autism is a small way of contributing to that bigger picture, raising awareness, starting conversations, and showing support.

Over the coming days, we’ll be walking together, encouraging each other, and doing our bit. One step at a time.

If you would like to support our journey, whether through a donation or simply by sharing our page, it would mean a great deal to us.

Thank you for being part of this with us.
