Our reason

Sunday 1st Mar

Autism impacts millions of families. It shapes daily routines, communication, education, friendships, and futures. Behind every diagnosis is a child, a parent, siblings, teachers, and a community learning how to better support and understand.

We’re walking to:

  • Raise funds for autism support services
  • Increase awareness and acceptance
  • Show our kids what advocacy looks like in action
  • Stand in solidarity with families navigating this journey every day

Charities like National Autistic Society and Autism Speaks provide resources, advocacy, and community support for autistic individuals and their families. Every dollar raised helps fund programs, guidance, and outreach that make a real difference.

Why 80,000 Steps?

Because progress happens step by step.

Because understanding grows conversation by conversation.

Because small daily effort adds up to something meaningful.

80,000 steps in 8 days is our way of turning intention into action. Of choosing movement with purpose. Of teaching our children that when something matters, you show up — consistently.

Each step is a reminder that advocacy doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. Sometimes it’s simply steady.

If you’d like to donate, share, or even join us for a few thousand steps — we’d love the support.

Here’s to 80,000 steps.

Eight days.

One meaningful cause. 💙
