Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

Vin’s voice

Sunday 1st Mar
Our beautiful little boy Vinny is 3 and a half years old and has recently been diagnosed with non-verbal autism.

Vinny may not use words to communicate yet, but he tells us so much every single day through his smile, his laughter, and the unique way he sees the world. He is loving, determined, and full of personality. Like many children with autism, he experiences the world differently — sometimes in ways that can be overwhelming — but he also brings a perspective that is truly special.

Autism isn’t something that needs to be “fixed.” It’s something that needs to be understood.

We are taking part in a sponsored walk to raise awareness, promote understanding, and support families like ours. Early support, therapies, specialist education, and community resources can make an incredible difference — not only for children like Vinny, but for their families too.

By donating, you’re not just supporting a cause — you’re helping to build a more inclusive, accepting world where children like Vinny can thrive.
