I'm walking 80,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

I’m taking on an 80,000-step charity walk to raise awareness and support for autism — and I’m doing it for our son  Hudson and for every child and family walking their own unique journey.

Autism is not just a label; it’s a different way of experiencing the world. For many families, it means celebrating incredible strengths while also navigating real daily challenges that others don’t always see. This walk is about understanding, acceptance, inclusion, and making sure autistic children get the support, patience, and opportunities they deserve.

Every step I take represents resilience, love, and hope for a more inclusive future. 💙

If you can, please support, share, or simply help spread awareness. Let’s walk together towards greater understanding.

#AutismAwareness #80KStepsForAutism #WalkingForHudson #InclusionMatters

I'll be walking 80,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me. My husband will also be doing cycle for autism his way of helping raise even more funds!!

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊

Hudson’s Story — Walking Through Autism Together

Wednesday 11th Feb

If you meet Hudson, the first thing you’ll notice isn’t autism — it’s his spirit. His curiosity. His way of seeing the world differently. He experiences life in a way that is intense, honest, and beautifully unique. As his parent, I get to see moments of pure joy that most people would miss — the small victories that feel enormous, the quiet breakthroughs that mean everything.

But our journey hasn’t been easy.

There are days when communication feels like a mountain to climb. Days when the world is too loud, too fast, too overwhelming. Sleep can be a battle. Change can feel impossible. Things many families take for granted often require planning, patience, and constant advocacy. Watching your child struggle in a world that doesn’t always understand them is a feeling no parent can fully prepare for.

Autism is not something that needs to be “fixed.” Hudson doesn’t need changing — but the support around him matters deeply. The right resources, therapies, and understanding can help him communicate, regulate, learn, and thrive in ways that open doors to his future.

That’s why we are fundraising.

Every donation is more than money — it is hope. It is access to tools that help Hudson find his voice. It is support that helps him feel safe and understood. It is the chance to give him opportunities that help him grow into the amazing person we already know he is.

This journey can feel isolating at times, but kindness reminds us we are not walking it alone. When you support our fundraiser, you become part of Hudson’s story — part of helping a child feel seen, included, and empowered.

We are not asking for sympathy. We are asking for belief — belief in Hudson, in neurodiversity, and in creating a world where differences are supported rather than misunderstood.

Thank you for walking beside us. Every step, every share, every donation truly makes a difference.

Thank you to my donors
