I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

I’m taking part in this walk for autism not just as a supporter, but as a parent. My two children are on the autism spectrum, and they inspire me every single day with their strength, uniqueness, and the way they see the world. This cause is deeply personal to me—it's about raising awareness, promoting understanding, and helping create a more inclusive and supportive world for them and others like them. Every step I take is for my kids: for their futures, for greater acceptance, and for the support that makes a real difference to families like ours.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊

**Day One Begins: Walking with Purpose, Walking for My Boys 💙**

Thursday 26th Mar
Today isn’t just the start of a fundraiser. It’s the start of something deeply personal.

In a little while, I’ll take my first steps on this journey—walking to raise awareness and support for autism. But the truth is, this isn’t just about a cause to me. It’s about my world. It’s about my two young boys.

They are my reason. My motivation. My “why.”

Every single day, I see the strength, uniqueness, and beauty in them. I also see the challenges—the moments that others might not always understand. That’s why this walk matters so much. It’s about helping create a world where they feel accepted, supported, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

As I get ready to head out, I’m feeling a mix of emotions. Pride, determination… and if I’m honest, a few nerves too. It’s not just about the miles ahead—it’s about doing something meaningful, something that makes a difference for them and for so many other families walking a similar path.

Today is just the beginning. One step at a time, one mile at a time, I’ll be walking with my boys in my heart. Every step I take is for them—for their future, their opportunities, and their place in this world.

This journey might challenge me physically, but it’s already filled me with purpose in a way I can’t fully put into words.

So here we go—day one starts now.

Let’s do this. 💙
