Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

Why I’m walking

I'm taking part in this charity walk because I believe deeply in creating a world where autistic individuals receive the support they deserve and have the same opportunities as everybody else.
One of the most significant areas where autistic people are let down is within the schooling system. I've witnessed this firsthand within my own family, seeing the lack of tailored support, understanding, and inclusive practices can have a profound impact on their educational journey and overall well-being. It's heartbreaking to see potential stifled and dreams limited due to systemic failures.
This makes me want to be part of the change. It's about more than just raising money; it's about raising awareness and fostering a community that embraces neurodiversity.
