I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

For Autism Awareness Month, my brother and I are taking on an 80,000-step walk over 8 days, and we’d be so grateful if you would consider sponsoring us. Autism holds a very special place in our hearts, as my brother was diagnosed himself, and our journey is deeply personal. We truly believe autism is a superpower — it brings incredible strengths, unique perspectives, and so much light into the world — even though we know it also comes with challenges that he faces every day. By supporting our walk, you’re helping raise awareness, understanding, and acceptance for autistic individuals and families like ours. Every donation, big or small, means the world to us and helps us take another step toward a more inclusive future. 💙

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

My brother and I will be walking a minimum of 10,000 step walk a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊

Day one:
I collected my brother from his day centre and we walked all the way home. 4.3 miles in total 10933 steps. We stopped off at the shop to get supplies for a celebration curry night. The walk took us only 1 hour 40 minutes, my brother was so proud, however he already has a blister on his foot 🤣🤦‍♀️.
