Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Walk With Autism

Autism isn’t just something I support it’s something that has shaped my life. I grew up alongside two incredible siblings with autism. Being their sister has taught me patience, empathy, resilience, and a deeper understanding of the world through a different lens. I’ve seen both the beauty and the challenges  the strength it takes, the misunderstandings that happen, and the importance of real support and acceptance. As I got older, that personal connection turned into my profession. I now work with autistic young adults, supporting them as they build independence, confidence, communication skills, and prepare for adulthood. Every day, I see how the right support can completely change someone’s future. I’m walking not just for awareness, but for acceptance. For better services. For more understanding. For families like mine. For the young people I work with. And for a world that embraces neurodiversity rather than trying to change it.
