My updates

I’m a day behind..

Friday 27th Mar
I’m unfortunately a day behind with my daily challenge of completing 10,000 steps each day. I was discharged from hospital earlier on today due to illness. I have fought hard this evening to catch up with today’s steps, whilst trying to listen to my body. I had to break it up into separate sessions to complete it today as I just couldn’t quite manage 10,000 in one go. Fortunately I have been able to complete today’s steps on my own treadmill at home. I’m going to be honest, it hasn’t been easy, and I’m now exhausted, but I will rest up now and hopefully feel a little stronger as each day goes by and endeavour to be back on track. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this challenge so far.

Why am I doing this?

Sunday 1st Mar
For 14 years, I have seen first hand, and felt, and fought for, the struggles and challenges an autistic person can face on a daily basis. If this can make a difference to those who so desperately need support, then I am ready to take on this challenge and push myself, who admittedly does not walk 4/5 miles a day usually. It will be physically challenging but I am ready to give it my all.
