I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in. I am also doing this as i am an autistic person and have struggled with issues for my whole life, so I wanted to give back to charity and the people who helped me

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊

My updates

Day 8

Thursday 2nd Apr
Day 8, the end of this. Thank you so much for supporting me, I have completed absolutely everything I set out to complete and this has been insane to do. I have finished around 16,000 steps today and I went to Sheffield to see a few music iconic locations!. Thank you so much for supporting me!❤️❤️

Day 7

Thursday 2nd Apr
Day 7 I had forgot to log it all as I fell asleep straight away when I got home, but I ended up getting in 26,000 steps. Day 8 tomorrow and the last of the challenge!

Step totals?

Wednesday 1st Apr
Just to let you guys know, there has been a mistake, I have done roughly 67,000 but it didn't log day one on the total so it wouldnt say I have

Day 6

Tuesday 31st Mar
Day 6 and I have hit 67,701 steps, I am sure I will be able to do 13,000 steps in the next 2 days. My shins are still not getting better but I dont think they will to be honest. Had a couple of donations today to put us up nearly to 300! Thank you so much for this, see you for day 7!

Day 5

Monday 30th Mar
I'm very distraught about not reaching 10,000 steps today, I had to rest my legs as my shins physically hurt to walk on and I also needed a day to rest on my legs, although tomorrow I will do about 20,000 steps to make up for it. Thank you so much for the support I hope you understand ❤️

Day 4

Sunday 29th Mar
Today has a been a good day, got to see my sister from uni again, but my cold has been getting worse. I have finished the day on roughly 11,000 steps, tomorrow I will be doing a lot more hopefully, but my cold will most likely not heal if im out. Also, my legs are getting better but I highly doubt the walking helps with my shin splints. Thank you everyone for the support Day 4❤️

Day 3

Saturday 28th Mar
No donations today unfortunately, but i have managed to do the 10,000 again, went to Sainsburys and had a cheeky little Rodds because they are amazing, we love will n James. But thank you so much for the support today!❤️

Day 2

Friday 27th Mar
Day 2, I have completed about 11,000 steps over all and hopefully I will be doing more over the coming days, today my legs were giving me a lot of pain and so I decided to just get it done with. Hopefully in the next few days my legs will feel better so I can get more done. However, on the positive side my local mp, Keith has donated, thank you so much and good luck on yours aswell! I would like to wish my friend layla good luck aswell as everyone else taking part in this truly stunning act to help Autism Initiatives!

First day

Thursday 26th Mar
First day, I have been to school, gym and been out later, and have racked up 18000 steps today. Thank you all for the amazing support so far, 200 quid almost already and I can't wait to keep walking and supporting. I am also doing a big ⅓ of a marathon in a few days and racking in so many steps. Unfortunately I may not be able to do much more than the 10,000 steps a day before and after that because I have some very bad shin splints currently and it really hurts to walk much. Of course I will keep trying to push as many steps I can. Thank you so much for the support and onto day 2!

This is insane

Tuesday 24th Mar
The amount of donations is beyond my belief, I expected literally no one to donate and now I am near 100 pounds! Thank you guys so much for donating!
