I'm walking over 25,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

My name is Ruby, I am 7 years old and I was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 5.

I'm different, I’m unique, What’s my superpower? Autism!

Some days bring challenges, but with the love and support of those around me and your awareness, I face challenges with confidence.

I want to raise awareness with every step I take and show that autism is something magical and worth celebrating. ✨

I’ll be walking over 25,000 steps a day for 8 days and would be so grateful if you could sponsor me!

Any donation big or small will help Walk for Autism raise money for autism focused projects across the UK.

Ruby has been working so hard getting ready for this challenge, and she’s already smashing her steps! Because of that amazing determination, we’ve decided to raise her target to 25,000+ steps a day for 8 days, starting 26th March.

Anyone who knows Ruby knows just how special she is. She has such a big heart and a bright spirit that inspires everyone around her.

This cause is very close to our hearts. Autism is not something that needs to be “fixed.” It’s simply a different way of seeing, feeling, and experiencing the world. Every autistic person is unique, with their own incredible strengths, talents, and ways of shining.

Ruby shows us those strengths every single day. She has the most beautiful way of looking at the world, full of honesty, creativity, passion, and determination. She teaches us to slow down, notice the little things, and celebrate differences. She faces challenges that others may not always see, yet she continues to show bravery, resilience, and the courage to always be her true self. She reminds us that being different is something to be proud of 💚

Raising awareness about autism helps create a world where autistic children like Ruby are supported, understood, and celebrated for exactly who they are.
