Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

WHY I AM WALKING FOR AUTISM

Monday 9th Mar
This year, i'm taking part in the walk for Autism as it is very close to my heart.
Autism has been part of my family life, with close family members being autistic and more recently, my son has received an autism diagnosis. As a parent, this has made me even more passionate about learning and understanding autism so that I can support him in the best way possible.

I'm also currently studying a course about Autism, which has helped me learn more about the importance of awareness, acceptance and support for autistic people.

I'm doing this walk for my son and nephews, and for all families and individuals who live with autism every day. Any support for this cause would mean alot and any donations would be greatly appreciated!
