Thankyou! 🌸
Saturday 24th JanI just want to say the biggest thank you to everyone who’s donated, shared, or even just sent a kind message. I honestly didn’t expect this at all — £97 towards my £500 goal in less than 24 hours has completely overwhelmed me.
I’m doing this for my little boy, Reece, and knowing that so many people care and want to support us has meant more than I can explain. Every donation, no matter the size, has made me feel less alone on this journey.
Thank you for the kindness, the encouragement, and for backing us. It really does mean the world to me and to Reece 🤍
If anyone else would like to donate or share, it would be so appreciated.
80,000 Steps for My Boy, Reece
Friday 23rd JanI’m walking 80,000 steps for my little boy, Reece.
Reece is 6. He’s non-verbal, has severe autism, hypermobility, and global developmental delay. But before any of that, he’s my son — the little boy who changed my whole world.
Every step I take is for him. For the extra effort it takes him just to get through the day. For the frustrations when he can’t tell me what he needs. For the strength he shows without ever saying a word.
Being Reece’s mum means constant worrying, constant fighting, and loving harder than I ever knew was possible. It means celebrating things others might not notice and carrying fears about his future that never really switch off.
These 80,000 steps are my way of doing something for him. Of raising awareness. Of saying, please see our children, please understand them, please be kind.
