I'm walking 15,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

My special little Maxi

Monday 19th Jan
My son Maximillien, aka Maxi, or Max, was diagnosed with ASD when he was 9 years old. 
He always struggled at school academically and also with friendships, and has spent most of his life with no social circle other than his brothers and cousins. Life for Max is just generally difficult to navigate. In 2023 we made the decision to take him out of mainstream school and home educate. 
It has been one of the best decisions we have ever made for him. He is now far happier, calmer, and safer, and learning at his own pace in a comfortable environment. I wouldn't change his quirky ways fir anything. 
Just continue being you my special little man, we all love you so very very much 💚
