Walking for my son

Saturday 28th Feb

This year, I’ll be taking part in a Walk for Autism 💙

This one is very close to my heart. I’m doing it because my son has autism.

Autism is part of who he is. It brings its own challenges, but it also brings strengths, uniqueness, honesty, and a way of seeing the world that inspires me every single day. As a parent, you learn, you adapt, you advocate, and you love in ways you never knew possible.

Some days are harder than others. There are worries about understanding, inclusion, and the future. But there is also so much pride — pride in every milestone, every achievement (no matter how small it may seem to others), and in the incredible person he is becoming.

I’m walking to raise awareness, to show support, and to stand alongside other families on similar journeys. I’m walking for understanding, acceptance, and a kinder world for autistic children and adults.

Most of all, I’m walking for my son. Always 💙

If you’d like to support or walk alongside us, it would mean the world.
