Walk for Autism

Monday 26th Jan
Why? Why have I chosen to walk 250,000 steps in 8 days? Simple. For Autism. You may or may not know that I have three amazing, wonderful and truly special children, Blake, Scarlett and Grayson. I didn’t know what autism was when Blake or Scarlett was born, then along come little Grayson, who simply changed my life forever. He let me see the world through a different perspective. Grayson is autistic non verbal, meaning he can’t say the words or sentences like so many children his age can, he communicates in a different way, sometimes with tantrums and anger, but also sometimes with the biggest smile that will brighten up a room, the biggest laugh you’ll ever hear. I wouldn’t change anything because i have learnt so much that I didn’t even know, many many many children are just like Grayson, so this goal, this challenge is for you Grayson, I will walk for autism.
