An ASD diagnosis is only the beginning

Wednesday 11th Feb
Almost 3 years ago now Kalan was officially diagnosed as having ASD autistic spectrum disorder. We fought for 12 years to get him the help he needed. Even now we still have to fight to get him the help and the things he’s entitled to. He’s come so amazingly far in the last couple of years alone but he will always need help to do certain things that a regular young man of his age should be able to do. So many have been diagnosed with ASD but it’s still so hugely misunderstood.Â
