LETS GO!

Wednesday 21st Jan

On 26th March, I will begin a challenge that means more to me than just walking.

For 8 days, I’ll walk 10k steps every day — a total of 80k steps — to raise money for autism charities and to help support individuals and families who live with autism every single day.

This post is the beginning of that journey.

Why This Matters

Autism is not rare. It is not simple. And it is not something that only affects one person. It affects not only my son, my nieces and nephews but families, friendships, education, workplaces, and futures.

Autistic individuals experience the world differently — with unique strengths, sensitivities, creativity, intelligence, and challenges. But too often, understanding and support don’t come easily. That’s why autism charities are so vital. They bridge gaps. They offer guidance. They create opportunities. And they give families hope.

Why I’m Doing This

This walk is my way of turning care into action.

Walking 80k over 8 days will be uncomfortable at times. But it is nothing compared to the daily challenges faced by autistic individuals navigating a world that isn’t always built for them.

Every step I take is for:

  • Better understanding
  • Better support
  • Better futures
  • My son
  • My nieces & Nephews

How You Can Be Part of This

I’m asking for your support — not just financially, but emotionally too.

You can help by:

  • Sponsoring my walk (any amount truly matters)
  • Sharing this page with others
  • Leaving messages of encouragement
  • Learning more about autism

Your support will directly help autism charities continue their incredible work.

What Happens Next

Between now and March 26th, I’ll be sharing:

  • Why this cause matters to me
  • My preparation journey
  • Stories, reflections, and progress

Then on March 26th, the real walking begins.

Thank You

If you’ve read this far, thank you.

If you donate, thank you.

If you share, thank you.

If you simply care, thank you.

Together, we can turn 80k steps into real change.
