My updates

Thank you 🙏🏼

Wednesday 8th Apr
This challenge was really great for me. It got me out again regularly, met wonderful people along the way, love my green t- shirt ☺️👍🏻 and am gopsmacked and awestruck by the generosity of all you sponsors!

Huge thank you 🤩

Last day of challenge - Kinoull Hill

Friday 3rd Apr
So enjoyed the sunshine today and added three walks together to meet my target. Great experience all together

Wettest walk ever 🌧️

Wednesday 1st Apr
I left it til the afternoon really to walk for my 10000 steps and I had to pay for it. Icy rain all the way. I thought of all the support autism initiative gives us and walked on with gratitude. At home I found I had only 9924 steps so I added a bit of warming-up-in-the-house walk in my pjs since I had been soaked. It worked. Altogether I made my target for today 👍🏻

Discovered new path to Kinoull Hill

Tuesday 31st Mar
Today I made my steps up with two walks - a morning of getting from here to there got me 5300 steps and an afternoon walk exploring the path feom Perth to Kinoull Hill. I have walked Kinoull hill often but never all the way from Perth. So I am pleased. That was 6510 steps. So I stop counting for today hsving managed to reach well beyond my target ☺️👍🏻

A windy morning and a sunny evening walk

Monday 30th Mar
Today I wanted to make sure to get way beyond 10000 steps after not quite making it yesterday. So I am pleased to say that I did a 4380 steps morning walk - very windy - and just finished a more calm 8446 steps evening walk. So way over my target today 👍🏻☺️

A bit short of 10000 steps

Sunday 29th Mar
Today I did not quite reach my 10000 step target. 🎯 and I am ok since I did more yesterday and the day before.
I will do my best tomorrow to get beyond 10000 again 👍🏻☺️

Walking at Perth Subud Centre today

Saturday 28th Mar
Today I was catering for the Scottish Natural Honey Bee Society who held their AGM in the Perth Subud Centre. Half of my steps I got by walking up and down the stairs ☺️the other half I went through the South Inch Park, over the railway bridge and through Rodney Garden back to the Subud Centre.

Day 2 of walking challenge

Friday 27th Mar
Today I started my day with an hour walk near Errol In beautiful sunshine and then added my steps on that I did in Perth preparing for tomorrows catering. And - I ended up having done 14612 steps ☺️👍🏻💖getting there nicely.

Two days of challenge done

Friday 27th Mar
Yesterday - day 1 of my walking challenge I actually started at No 3 one stop shop finishing my jigsaw before driving to Moncreiffe Hill for a good hour walk.

I added all my steps up for the day anx got more than 11000😃👍🏻

getting my steps right :-)

Sunday 22nd Mar
I have now walked several routes and am clearer about what gets me my 10000 steps. A 1 hour 50 min walk it will be. In 5 days I will start the challenge and am at the moment actually recovering from another cold. I trust I will be fit enough when the challenge actually starts I look so much forward to it.

Getting started

Wednesday 18th Feb
It took me a few days to connect with Strava and now I am set to get a feeling how much I need to walk to get 10000 steps per day.
So today I managed a bit over 5000 steps.
Will check out various routes until I have a as good one for my challenge 👍🏻💖✨

I am getting ready

Sunday 15th Feb
February 2018 - almost 50 years old I got late diagnosed with autism. I am grateful to finally start to understand better hwo I tick. The diagnose and especially the support around it has helped immensely.
I love walking and so I want to take this opportunity to support the awareness for and work around autism.
