My story

Saturday 28th Feb
Hi my name is Lydia and I’m joining the 2026 walk for autism for my little brother Isaac. He is a generous and smart little boy with a lot to give. Autism comes in all shapes and sizes which sometimes means it’s harder to understand, my brother specifically struggles to regulate his emotions and complete tasks that would be “easy” for you and me, with a little bit help , extra care and definitely some patience we can help him achieve goals that seem like a massive climb. But that’s not always what autism is all about one thing out of many things I love about Issac is his generosity, when he comes home from cooking at school I find a container in the fridge that says “lidy” and I hear a voice saying “there’s dinner for you in the fridge” he does that every time and it’s amazing. I want to raise money for all of the special people out there with autism and spread a positive message.

Thank you to my donors
