Harvey

Saturday 31st Jan
Hello, myself and Elle are taking part in the “Walk For Autism” on behalf of Harvey, who will also be joining us when he can.

This consists of 10,000 steps per day for 8 consecutive days. It would mean everything if you could make a donation whether big or small.

Imagine if you’re child is turning 6 years old in March, but you have never had a single conversation with them.

Imagine, they’re coming up to their 6th birthday and they still can’t tell you what they want for it.

Imagine, they come home so excited from school every day, but can’t tell you what they’ve done.

Imagine, they still can’t tell you when they have filled their nappy.

Imagine their whole diet is one specific type of yogurt and nothing else.

Imagine seeing a paediatrician every 9 months for them to write down how they are and tell you they’ll see you again in another 9 months.

Imagine not being able to go to soft plays or children’s parties, or shops, or supermarkets, because they are so overwhelmed, but you have to try to explain that to people.

Imagine being Harvey.

We’re doing this to raise money for help. We have no help from the NHS or other organisations. We do this on our own.

Walk for Autism is an exciting fundraising challenge to walk 10,000 steps a day for 8 days.
