Walk, Skip, Trip… Repeat! Leah’s March Challenge 💚👣 👟💚

Hi, I’m Leah 😊

Me and my dad are taking on Walk for Autism this March! We’re going to try and smash as many steps as we can every day,  some days might be a lot, some days might be a little, but we’ll keep moving!

I have autism and ADHD, which means my brain is super busy and full of energy. Sometimes loud noises feel too loud, busy places feel too busy, and my feelings can get really big really fast. I can find it hard to slow down… unless it’s something I really love!
But my brain is also creative, curious and caring. I notice little details, I ask lots of questions, and when I care about something, I really care.

We’re doing this for Autism Initiatives Group, who run Walk for Autism. They’re working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to reach their potential, and a kind, inclusive community to live in.
So we’ll be walking, running, dancing, skipping. whatever it takes to raise money for this fantastic charity. Some days will be easy (because I never stop moving anyway 😄) and some days might be harder, but we’re going to have fun and do our best!
