Why I am walking for Autism

Tuesday 10th Mar
My son Sam is Autistic and has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).
He is now 16 and studying Hair and Beauty at College. Smashing life and I couldn't be prouder.
However throughout his young life he has struggled with education, making friendships, bullies, and bereavement.

Any one of those things would knock anyone off kilter, but imagine having all these emotions and not knowing how to show them? Knowing you are different and not understanding why other kids are bullying you because of it. Always feeling isolated because you don't understand what going on in lessons or generally in the world around you.

We take these things for granted and yet for my beautiful 16 year old son, these are just some of the daily challenges he faces.

I want to raise awareness for autism, but mostly I want people to educate themselves and their children on how to be KIND and ACCEPTING  to these kids

Thank you to my donors
