I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Monday 16th Feb
Joshua is my 6 year old son who has autism. It was noted when he was around 18 months old that he was struggling and it became more noticeable as he got older. 
Joshua is a warm and kind little boy that gives the best cuddles. Academically he’s bright and passionate and a whizz with numbers but social he struggles in so many ways.
Joshua lives at home with mum, dad his big brother Finley and Lilly the cat. Joshua is a huge lover of animals and would spend ages patiently trying to engage with Lilly. 
I have decided to do the walk for autism as I know the fund raising will go to people like squashy who will benefit from the kindness this charity can provide. 
I am so very proud of my little boy and the way he is navigating through this very difficult world we live in and doing life his way..
