I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

From 26th March to 2nd April, I will be taking part in Walk for Autism. During this week, I have committed to walking 10,000 steps every single day to raise awareness and support for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.
Autism is not just something I read about or hear about in the news. It is part of my everyday life. It shapes my journey as a parent, the way I see the world, and the way I advocate for understanding and inclusion.
Behind every autistic child is a family that is learning, adapting, and fighting every day to make sure their child is understood and supported. There are moments of joy, pride, and progress that feel like the biggest victories in the world. But there are also challenges, long days, worries about the future, and the constant need to explain, advocate, and push for the right support.
This is why autism awareness matters so much.
When people understand autism better, the world becomes a kinder place. Teachers can support children more effectively, communities become more inclusive, and families feel less alone in their journey.
Although the official challenge runs from 26th March to 2nd April, I will actually be starting my walks earlier than the 26th of March, before the school holidays begin. I want to make sure I can fully commit to the challenge and complete my 10,000 steps each day while balancing family life and my responsibilities.
Every step I take represents hope, hope for more understanding, better support, and a future where autistic individuals are fully accepted and valued for who they are.
If you are able to support me by donating to my Walk for Autism, it would mean so much. Every contribution, big or small, helps raise awareness and support for autistic individuals and their families.
And if donating isn’t possible, simply sharing this message helps spread awareness.
For this challenge, I will be walking 10,000 steps a day.
Not just for exercise.
But for understanding, acceptance, and a better future for autistic children and their families.
Thank you for supporting me and for being part of this journey. 💙👣
