Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

My little boy.

Being a parent of an autistic child definitely has its challenges but also it has its rewards also. 

My little boy who is 5 has only been recently diagnose with autism, but me and my wife knew from a young age that something just wasn’t right and he was different from being your average child. 

It’s not been easy for me and my wife and the other people that support us, and you certainly don’t get a manual on what to do either. But like most people you just get your head down and get on with it. 

I’m doing this challenge on behalf of my little boy and I look forward to taking the challenge on as well.
