I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

I had a long 14/15 years wait to finally FINALLY get to be a mammy, yet 6 years into my motherhood I'm still waiting to hear that 1 special word, to have someone calling me mammy, seems like a cruel twist of fate and some days I feel that harder than others, but it's not, I go to bed with the most amazing boy I wake up to the most amazing boy, I don't need him to say mammy or I love u, I know he loves me he shows me he squeezes me he nose bobs me and he 100% know I'm his mammy, so I wanna do this for him but also my self, since giving birth my physical health was so bad weekly hospital trips, I lost my hair, my eyes was affected, but I have now been completely steriod free for the last 18 months, so I now need to start moving more building strength back up in my bones (I'm still waiting on a skeletal scan) so I see this as a win win I move more and hopefully raise some pennies for a good course, thank u xx
