Supporting Autism

Saturday 24th Jan
Hello
Our little boy Thomas was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3.
The diagnosis was heartbreaking as I did not understand what autism was and how it would affect his life and the challenges ahead.
Thomas is a happy now 9 year old boy, though he is non-verbal he tries so hard to make his wishes be known.
Autism is a journey, there are days where they are more difficult than others but it is about acceptance and adapting to all challenges as a parent we may face.
We could not be any prouder of our Thomas, he brightens up each and every single day with his glowing smile and contagious laugh. He makes us extremely proud and supporting autism and other families with children like Thomas is what it is all about.
I am looking forward to supporting autism with the walk and hopefully achieve my goal.
Good luck to everyone. X
