I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

As my family and friends will know my wonderful, lovely, clever son Remmi has autism so this is close to my heart so I’m doing this for him mostly but also for all the other beautiful a.s.d children of the world 🌍

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊

Stepping for Rem!

Wednesday 21st Jan
From 4 years old my beautiful unique Rémmi was diagnosed with autism after 3 long years of assessments, tests and appointments we finally had a diagnosis, at first the news was heartbreaking 💔 and I thought how would I be able to give him the life he deserves, but like every mummy we step up for our kids and fight all the way to get what our kids deserve after two years of him being at a neurotypical school (which was definitely not suited for him) he was accepted at his special school and he flourished straight away! He said his first word after a month, after around 3 months they managed to toilet train (woohoo no more nappies) he can communicate better on what he wants, overall he’s a much happy and calm boy and I couldn’t be prouder of his progress.
