My updates

Close to our 💙

Sunday 25th Jan
My son is currently awaiting an autism assessment. While we’re still in that in-between space — not yet having answers, but feeling them in our bones every day — our journey has already taught us so much about patience, resilience, and the importance of understanding.
Like many families, we’ve experienced moments of confusion, overwhelm, and worry about what the future might look like. But we’ve also experienced incredible moments of joy, uniqueness, and pride. My son sees the world in his own way, and that way is thoughtful, curious, and beautifully his.
Waiting for an assessment can be hard. There’s uncertainty, long waiting lists, and a constant balancing act between advocating for your child and simply letting them be a child. Charities that support autistic individuals and their families make such a difference during times like this — offering guidance, resources, understanding, and hope when it’s most needed.
That’s why I’m raising money for this autism charity.
