Malachy’s story
Friday 30th JanHayley here, my son was diagnosed back in 2023. Malachy also has verbal dyspraxia meaning his brain struggles to coordinate the muscles in his lips, jaw and tongue making it hard for him to talk. Malachy was non verbal into the last year, But thanks to his weekly speech therapy session he has begun to find his voice. He will most likely need speech therapy into he’s 16 years old. With the autism and his speech delay Malachy struggles a lot. This charity means so much to be able to give back to another child that’s struggling like my son would mean more then I could explain.

what this means?
Friday 30th Jan My self and my sister (hayley & sharna) have decided to come together to raise money for a charity thats close to our hearts. With autism in the family we understand the struggles and support needed. With one child already diagnosed and another going through the process on waiting lists we would like to raise money and awareness. Walking is a great way to do this as it can be so important to help out minds but also using the steps we already do when we are running back and forth to support our children's everyday needs.
