Walk for Autism
Thursday 12th Feb Im going to be walking 15k steps a day to raise money and aware for autism. As all my nearest and dearest know my little boy Freddie is autistic and non verbal, he is the most loving little boy I could ever wish for. But autism has come and will continue to come with challenges, milestones not being met, not being able to interact with others like neurotypical children. Seeing other people’s children do things you wish your child could do. You grieve what could have been. The world needs to be more inclusive and understanding. When he’s headbutting the floor or the walls or me, its not because he is naughty its because he cannot regulate himself and cannot express himself.
