Let’s Make A Change

Sunday 25th Jan
Autism, is a lifelong neurodevelopment but one thing to remember it is NOT an illness or a disease.

It is the way, our brain thinks differently and handles situations that many might not be able to do, but this does not make anyone with autism any different.

For many, communication can have a massive impact, where they struggle to cope with people. Where, that individual may not be able to manage in large numbers of people, or can get anxious and overwhelmed.

I know so many children & adults, with autism and I want to make a difference to those going through it by spreading awareness.

From a personal perspective, autism has had its challenges and I have seen this first hand. So this is why from March 26th for 8 days, I want to push myself to get out and achieve 10,000 steps. Nobody said this was going to be easy, but if I can at least try and make a difference then I am happy to accept this.Â
