✨First time participating in Walk for Autism✨

Friday 23rd Jan

Hello 👋 My name is Hannah and I have signed up to this cause because it is very close to my heart as my son is autistic.

Autism isn’t something I just read about or support from a distance, it’s part of our everyday life. I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges, the learning curves, the moments of worry, and also the joy, pride, and happiness that come with watching my child grow.

There are days that are hard, days filled with obstacles that others may not see, and struggles that can feel overwhelming. But there are also days of incredible achievement. Seeing my son overcome difficulties, develop in his own way, and celebrate his successes no matter how big or small has shown me just how strong and resilient he is.

Autism affects the whole family, and the support provided by awareness, understanding, and fundraising efforts like this walk truly matters. It helps create a world that is more inclusive, more compassionate, and better equipped to support autistic individuals and their families.

I’m walking not just to raise money, but to raise awareness and to honour my son and all autistic children who face daily challenges with courage and determination. Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. Every donation, message, and step taken means more than I can put into words.

Thank you to my donors
