I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism
Tuesday 27th JanI am taking part in this Walk for Autism for a reason that is incredibly close to my heart. My 3-year-old son has autism and is non-verbal. Every day, he shows me strength, resilience, and a unique way of experiencing the world that inspires me more than words can express.
Doing this walk means so much to me. It’s not just about the steps we take, but about raising awareness, understanding, and support for autistic children and their families. Autism is a lifelong journey, and with the right support, acceptance, and inclusion, our children can thrive.
By walking, I hope to help create a world where autistic children are understood, supported, and celebrated for who they are 💙
