Walking for My Son 💙

Monday 9th Mar

This year I’m taking part in an autism fundraising walk, and it means more to me than just putting one foot in front of the other.

I’m walking for my 5-year-old son.

Autism is part of his world every single day. Some days are filled with joy, laughter, and the most beautiful moments that remind me how unique and incredible he is. Other days can be challenging in ways people don’t always see or understand.

My son is non-verbal, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a voice. He communicates through smiles, gestures, determination, and his own amazing way of seeing the world. He has taught me patience, strength, and a completely different way of understanding connection.

This walk is for awareness.
It’s for acceptance.
And it’s for families like ours who are navigating autism every day.

I’m walking so more people understand that autism isn’t something to “fix” — it’s something to support. Every child deserves the right tools, understanding, and opportunities to thrive.

If you’re able to donate or share this page, it would mean the world to us. Every step we take helps raise awareness and support for autistic children and their families.

And on the day of the walk, the most important person beside me will be my little boy — the reason for every step. 💙
