My autism story

Saturday 14th Feb
So it all started when I was 9 months old. That was when I sat up on my own for the first time and my mum's work colleagues said that they thought that there was something wrong with me. Then I didn't walk until I was 22 months old. Then when I started school my mum worked with the school too try and get a diagnosis for me and basically cut a long story short. It didn't work and when I was 13 years old I moved away from my home village and moved to the town I'm currently living in and I started going to school in my new town and they noticed straight away that something was different about me. And again cut a long story short. When I was 16 years old I was finally diagnosed with moderate autism. But autism doesn't really affect me the way I am you can't even tell I have got it. I mean you can't tell anyway. But what I mean is I make jokes I understand jokes. The only thing that stands out is that I'm 20 years old and absolutely addicted to playing with Barbie's. So that's my autism storyÂ
