A bit about why I am doing this!

Sunday 25th Jan
I along with my mum will be walking 10,000 steps a day between the 26th of March to the 2nd of April for autism awareness. I will be 32 weeks pregnant at this time so am splitting the steps with my mum so that I am able to do this.

As someone who was diagnosed with autism at 15 this cause is extremely special to me. Autism truly is a spectrum and although most people that I’ve met wouldn’t think I have it, it affects me on a daily basis and has my entire life. It has taken me years to accept my diagnosis and was often something I felt shame over, as I’ve got older it has become something I am incredibly proud and passionate about. Autism isn’t always visible and can often be met with negative criticism and that’s why spreading awareness and educating people about it is so important.

All donations made from my walk will be going to the incredible charities that are creating safe and accepting environments for people with autism and giving them and others the right tools to help make there lives as amazing as possible.

Thank you for your support and donations🩷
