Walk for autism

Friday 13th Mar
At 30 years old, I’m a devoted mum of two incredible children who inspire everything I do. My six-year-old son is full of curiosity and energy; he has ADHD and is currently being assessed for autism. My 12-year-old daughter is thoughtful and creative, and while she is being tested for ADHD, she’s also navigating the worries many children feel about the transition to secondary school.
Through the everyday joys and challenges of parenting neurodiverse children, I have developed a deep understanding of how important patience, support, and acceptance truly are. I have seen firsthand how many families still struggle to find understanding and inclusive spaces for their children.
Determined to make a difference, I am taking on a simple but powerful mission: walking every day to raise funds and awareness for the neurodiverse community. Each step is a commitment to building a more inclusive world—one where children like mine are understood, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
By sharing my journey and walking for change, I hope not only to raise vital funding but also to spark conversations about inclusivity, empathy, and the importance of embracing neurodiversity in our schools, communities, and everyday lives.
