My updates

Last March, my world stopped. Today, I’m starting a movement

Saturday 21st Mar

Hi, I’m Emma.

I’m an Btec applied Science student, a Girlguiding Leader-in-training, and a future Forensic Scientist. But more importantly? I’m a fighter.

Since last March, I’ve been battling an illness that forced me to leave my job and hit the "pause" button on my life. It was tough. It was exhausting. But you know what? I’m still standing—and now, I’m walking.

Why This Matters

I’m trading my textbooks for trekking boots to take on the Walk for Autism. Why? Because the people I love—my friends and my family—navigate a world that wasn't built for them. Whether it’s Autism, Dyslexia, or Speech and Language challenges, I’ve seen the brilliant minds behind these labels struggle because the support just isn't there.

In science, if a system is broken, you fix it. That’s exactly what I’m doing.
