Why I am walking for autism💚

Sunday 8th Feb

This walk means more to me than just the miles I’ll cover.

I’m walking for autism because behind the word are real people, real families, and real stories that deserve understanding and respect. Autism isn’t something that needs to be fixed — it’s a different way of experiencing the world, and that difference deserves to be valued.

For many autistic individuals and their families, everyday life can come with challenges most of us never see. Accessing support, being understood, and feeling included shouldn’t be a struggle — yet for many, it still is.

That’s why I’m taking part in this walk. To raise awareness, to help fund vital support and advocacy, and to remind people that kindness, empathy, and inclusion matter.

Every step is for those who feel misunderstood, for families who work tirelessly behind the scenes, and for a world that does better when we choose to listen and learn.

If you’re able to donate, thank you — no contribution is too small. And if you can’t, sharing this page or taking a moment to learn more means just as much.

Thank you for walking this journey with me, step by step.
