I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. But also for my brother and everyone I used to care for.

Autism is something that is really close to me and will always be apart of my life, anyone who knows me knows just how much this means to me, so I want to help make a difference.

Please sponsor me if you can.

Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated 😊

Day 1: 0% Video Footage, 100% Humidity Well, Day 1 is officially in the books, and it was... an adventure. It started off with my headphones deciding to quit on me, leaving me alone with nothing! 🥲 Then, things escalated when I encountered a dog the size of a small horse behind a fence which forced me into a literal river to escape 🤣so If you seen a soggy person wandering around, don't worry it was me hitting my steps lol I recorded a lush video of the whole walk , but in a moment of post-walk brilliance, I accidentally deleted the entire thing. 🤡 What a 1st walk it has been! 😆 lets hope tomorrow is a better day and I get to hit my target! Including the rest of the steps from today!

Walking for Autism For Rhyd and So Many Others 💙

Saturday 21st Mar

This journey means more to me than I can put into words.

I’m not just doing this walk for my little brother, Rhyd although he is my whole world and my biggest reason why. I’m also walking for so many others.

For those who are severely autistic.

For those who don’t have a voice.

For those who are misunderstood or judged by people who don’t truly understand autism.

For the individuals who face online bullying simply for being themselves.

I’m walking for the families those doing their absolute best every single day, often without the support they deserve. The ones who struggle quietly, who keep going no matter how hard it gets.

And I’m also walking for those still waiting for answers for anyone going through the diagnosis process, feeling uncertain or alone. You are not alone.

This isn’t an easy journey, for anyone involved. But it’s a journey that deserves understanding, patience, and acceptance.

We’re not here to change them they are perfect as they are. We’re here to fit into their puzzle, to support them, and to make the world a kinder, more understanding place for them to live in.

Thank you to anyone supporting me it truly means everything 💙
