Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

Why I’m doing this challenge?

Saturday 28th Feb
The reason I am doing this challenge is because not only do I have first hand experience when it comes to having autism but I am also a huge supporter of this organisation, their ideals and what they do to help those with autism to give them greater opportunities and allow them to receive the support they may need in life. Thankfully I am someone who loves to walk and hike and for me this is something I discovered as a child which is a great way to regulate my emotions, excess energy and any overwhelming stress I may be experiencing. So if there was any challenge that would be perfect for me it would be the walk for autism. I am someone who loves charity and have worked with charity’s for most of my life, and walking for autism is very close to my heart and I want to do what I can to support others like me. 😇🦕
