I'm walking 10,000 steps a day for Autism Initiatives

Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

I'll be walking at least 10,000 steps a day from 26th March to 2nd April to raise money for this fantastic charity. Please sponsor me.

For Bobby 💙

Thursday 22nd Jan

I’m walking for my son, Bobby — my beautiful, brave 8-year-old boy who was diagnosed with ASD when he was 3 years old,

Being Bobby’s parent has changed my life in ways I can’t fully put into words. Autism is part of who he is, and while it brings challenges, it also brings incredible strength, honesty, and a unique way of seeing the world. Our journey hasn’t always been easy, but it has been filled with love, growth, and moments that remind me how extraordinary he truly is. We have learnt to celebrate even the smallest of achievements 👏

This charity holds a very special place in my heart because the support, awareness, and understanding it provides make a real difference to families like ours.

This will be my second time stepping for this wonderful charity 💚

Every step I take in this walk is for Bobby — for his future, for greater understanding, and for all the families walking a similar path. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting us, for supporting autism, and for helping make the world a kinder, more inclusive place 💙
