🌟 Supporting Brody’s 10K‑a‑Day Challenge for Autism Awareness 🌟

This March / April, Brody will be walking 10k steps every day to raise awareness for autism — and to show the world the strength, resilience, and determination that so often goes unseen!

Brody has faced more challenges than a child should, especially at school. Getting the right support in place has been a long, exhausting battle for us as a family. But through every setback, every change, every moment that felt too big or too overwhelming, Brody has kept going.

Change is something he finds incredibly difficult, yet when he commits to something, he gives it absolutely everything. That’s why this challenge feels so right for him — it turns his determination into something powerful, positive, and visible.

I couldn’t be prouder of him. His courage, his heart, and his refusal to give up inspire me every single day. By supporting this challenge, you’re not just cheering Brody on — you’re helping raise awareness for every child and family navigating autism, fighting for understanding, and pushing for the support they deserve.

South Yorkshire Walk

Tuesday 17th Mar
Brody got another walk in around South Yorkshire today to build up his steps before his sponsor start date. He did 12,716 steps in total.

It was muddy, it was wet, and he was ready for it to be over by the end. But we finished in the pub, and Brody was very happy with his favourite chips and gravy. A messy walk, but a good one!

Sandringham Estate

Friday 20th Feb
Today we went for a walk around the Sandringham Estate on the woodland trail and banked another 14066 steps!  

We played in the park for a bit, then carried on walking and had a little kickabout with the football on the way round. 

We took Mollie also met Uncle Barnsley and his dog, Chase, which made the walk even more fun!

Wednesday 18th Feb
Although the challenge hasn’t officially started yet, we thought we’d begin logging some of Brody’s adventures so you can keep up to date. We’re on a little family trip in Norfolk this week and have been exploring some beautiful woodland and beach walks.

Today Brody clocked up 13,555 steps, and to celebrate he treated himself to another hour in the hot tub. Living his best life as always!
