Walk for Autism is a fundraising challenge run by Autism Initiatives Group. Autism Initiatives Group is working towards a world where every autistic person has the support they need to thrive, every opportunity to fulfil their potential and a supportive, inclusive community to live in.

My diagnosis of autism

Monday 16th Feb
A few months ago I was diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and Learning disabilities. It was a struggle because of me being an adult but unfortunately was meant to be diagnosed when I was a kid but didnt happen. School was a struggle because I was a mummy's girl and still am I would kick scream and cry until I physically made myself ill. My diagnosis was hard but also funny becasue I would make the assessor laugh too much. I make my work colleagues laugh at work with the permanent marker mustache or the craziness around the kitchen at work even when I'm home and make my family laugh by dancing around the house with my nans stick pretending its a horse or act like a chicken.
